Judith Jerome visited Tulsa to meet with students and community leaders to explain her project of following family migration patterns. Her goal is to better understand the American experience and the formation of national culture.
Bob Leiser with Tulsa Global Alliance organized Zidane's first visit 15 years ago on behalf of the US State Department. He has returned serveral times since then as a guest of the Center and Prof. Randle.

As part of her "tracing roots" project, she visited Ingalls, Oklahoma, where her father's family first arrived in Oklahoma.
The old Ingalls school house still stands. It is preserved as a community center.
