When I was a kid this is the kind of movie we would have gone to see on a Saturday. There would have been a re-run serial with a cliff-haning ending along with the main (or double) feature. I probably saw this movie too, but I don't remember it. In fact, I don't remember any of them even though I saw lots of them. There was a sameness to them that fogs the memory of the details, but they were fun in an exciting way and we were always convinced this time the hero might loose out the the badmen ...but it never happened. As adults we learned that reality is not that way, but by the time we learned that we had already learned a lot more things worth knowing that as kids we never imagined...


P.S. One thing we boys did know is that the songs and the musical numbers in these cowboy movies were silly. I don't even think the girls enjoyed them. We probably thought they were put in to entetain any adults that might happen to come see the movie. We knew that there were a lot of things adults enjoyed and we didn't know why.
