Chinese Language Program

As a result of the successful exchange programs that were begun in 2002, the need for Chinese language in the schools has grown.  In 2004, we received a grant which provides seed money to help fund the salary for Chinese teachers.  Due to the growing interest in the language program, we have a great need for Chinese teachers.  There is currently no Chinese certification in Oklahoma, so prospective teachers must be certified in an alternate subject area.  For more information on Chinese teaching opportunities in Oklahoma, please contact Jennifer Tufts at jtufts@ou.edu.
