Faculty Professional Development Funds

All full-time resident faculty members in Tulsa have access to faculty development funds. These funds are administered by the Department Chair or Director in accordance with the policies of the Department or School. The annual budgeted amount is $1,600 per faculty member. Departmental policies determine whether unexpended funds may carry forward to future years or whether some portion of the funds are reserved for shared purposes among the faculty. Faculty should consult with their Chair/Director on the use of these funds.

Because there are centrally provided funds for faculty development, the Office of the Vice Provost will not generally provide additional funding for domestic travel or research expenditures except in exceptional circumstances.
