Stratton Taylor Interviews Tulsa's Mayor
A trip into our distant past.
Who can even remember back this far?
the show was produced on the campus of rogers state college

This video was made in 1988 and featured future Oklahoma State Senate Pro Tempore Statton Taylor interviewing Tulsa's new mayor, Rodger Randle (now director of this Center).

It offers an historic perspective on Oklahoma, and Tulsa, at a changing time in our history. It also provides a look at two state political figures in their youth.

Video of state and local political figures from the pre-internet era are exceptionally scarce.

This recording was made in Claremore on the campus of Rogers State College, now Rogers State University, in the studio of the school's TV station and was broadcast from the campus to an eastern Oklahoma audience.
